Our mandate

01

Represent

Defend the moral and economic interests of authors and related rights holders in the audiovisual and photographic sector.

02

Authorise

Issue operators the prior authorisations required for any communication of repertoire works to the public.

03

Collect

Collect the royalties due for the use of works, according to public and enforceable tariffs.

04

Distribute

Pay rights holders the sums collected, according to transparent distribution rules voted in general assembly.

Transparency, the condition of trust

A collecting society administers other people's money. SCAAP therefore publishes its activity reports, financial statements, general assembly minutes and distribution rules.
